Deputy Bryon Walker is investigating the theft of a county owned pick-up from Mason County that was found burning on Simmons Road early Monday, December 18.
Walker said 911 dispatchers were notified of a burning vehicle about 6:00 a.m. Monday when those living in the area heard a series of loud noises and saw the burning vehicle.
Walker said he responded to the scene along with Tollesboro Fire and Rescue where the extended cab Ford F-250 pick-up was found.
