Ruby Opal Kielman Kegley, 83, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday evening, April 24, 2019, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born January 7, 1936, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Pollitt Kielman.

Ruby was a member of Vanceburg First Baptist Church for over 59 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, watching the birds from her back porch and spending time with her family.

She was owner/operator of Smart Style Beauty Salon in Vanceburg for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include husband of 59 years, Jimmie Kegley; a son, Larry Kegley of Vanceburg; a daughter, Cheryl Goodwin and her husband, Jim, of Lucas, Texas; one brother, Frank Kielman Jr. of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Kenneth Kegley, Kristin Hamilton, Jessica Alexander, and Shannon Goodwin; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Kegley and Ashlynn Kegley. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Raelynn Kegley; and a sister, Lovell Harrington.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Michael Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.

Pallbearers will be Jack Prater, Maurice Carver, Danny Enix, Jim Goodwin, Dustin Hamilton, and Kenny Kegley. Kenneth, Kristin, Jessica, Shannon, Grayson, and Ashlyn will serve as honorary pallbearers.
