Lodema Frances Truesdell Horsley, 95, of Camp Dix, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born March 3, 1927, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Jesse and Leona Himes Truesdell.

Lodema was a member of Blankenship Christian Holiness Church for many years. She enjoyed playing on her iPad, taking rides, fishing, vacations, reading, spending time with family, and making sure everyone always had something to eat.

She is survived by two sons, Ted (Teresa) Horsley and James Boyd (Kim) Horsley of Vanceburg; two daughters, Gloria (David) Pollitt of Vanceburg and Lana Goodlander of Maysville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilmer Theodore Horsley Sr., to whom she was married for more than 60 years; four brothers, Oscar Truesdell, Ernest Truesdell, Leonard Truesdell, and Charlie Truesdell; and two sisters, Lorene Horsley and Lucille, an infant.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Jerry Bloomfield and Bro. Jerry Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
