Lloyd Lansberry

Lloyd Wayne Lansberry, 78, of Lewis County, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.

Lloyd was born at Rileyville, Virginia, on December 5, 1943, a son of the late Charles Edward and Anna Lee Cook Lansberry.

Lloyd is survived by his wife and companion of more than 36 years, Cindy Fox Lansberry. Together they created custom-built furniture, fast food restaurants, and built their own home.

Lloyd designed and built a low-water bridge, making it possible to access their home. Lloyd was a welder, mold maker, cement worker, certified Ford mechanic, custom cabinet maker, and contractor. He was a loving husband and dad, and good friend to all.

Left to cherish Lloyd’s memories, in addition to Cindy, are a daughter, Catherine Ann Prusila; a daughter-in-law, Barbie; a brother, William Lansberry of Rockwell, Texas; two granddaughters, Cassidy and Kiersten; five grandsons, Brandon, Cameron, Hayden, Ty, and Ethan; two step-grandchildren, Erick and Whitney; and two great-grandsons, Gavin and Owen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Wayne; two brothers, Charles Lansberry and Roy Lansberry; and three sisters, Frances, Marian, and Carol.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or service.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.

Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg is caring for all arrangements.
