Johnny Barbour

John Michael “Johnny” Barbour, 47, of Tollesboro, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.

He was born at Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, on February 22, 1975, a son of Diane Kay Applegate (Darrell) Polley and Billie Pyles Barbour and the late Jerry Len Barbour.

Johnny was a Team Leader at Green Tokai. He attended CrossPoint Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, sports, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of three-and-a-half years, Melissa Ogden Barbour; one son, Carson Michael Barbour of Aberdeen, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Kylie Steward of Lexington; two grandchildren, Kinxton and Kayleigh Rose; one sister, Jera Case of Tollesboro; two stepbrothers, Brian Polley of Morehead, and Adam Zeigler of Maysville; two stepsisters, Amanda Brajuha of Lexington, and Tricia Polley-Culberth of Dallas, Texas; his mother-in-law, Shirley Hinton of Blue Licks; a sister-in-law, Jaime Ogden of Florence; and his special pet cat, Boots.

Services will be at Noon Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Tollesboro Christian Church with Bro. Chad Current officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Cemetery.

Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Tollesboro Christian Church.

Pallbearers will be Darin Spence, Brian Spence, Anthony Lang, Chris Gantley, Michael Kielman, and Chad Case.

Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be caring for all arrangements.
