A high speed pursuit early Friday was ended when the fleeing vehicle crashed after running off the AA Highway west of Vanceburg.
Sheriff Johnny Bivens said the auto being pursued at times exceeded 120 miles-per-hour on the AA Highway as the 2007 Chevrolet Impala was traveling east from Tollesboro.
Bivens said deputies responded to a complaint on Ribolt-Epworth Road near Tollesboro at 11:49 p.m. Thursday after a resident there called about people attempting to gain entry into their home.
