Everett McNutt’s killer recommended for parole

The confessed killer of a Tollesboro man more than 23 years ago is now scheduled to be released from prison.

James A. Miller has been recommended for parole in May despite the efforts of the family of Everett McNutt who worked to keep him from being released from the Kentucky State Reformatory in LaGrange.

The parole board made the recommendation following a hearing last week. His proposed parole date is May 1.
