Vanceburg firefighters were dispatched to West Second Street in Vanceburg when smoke was reported coming from a dumpster there. Firefighters doused the contents of the dumpster and examined the bags inside to ensure it wouldn’t rekindle. There was no visible damage reported and no structures were in danger.
