Dorothy Ann Breeze Bender, 91, of Tollesboro, passed away Monday evening, September 20, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. Her girls were at her side.
Dorothy was born, January 1, 1930, in Mason County, a daughter of the late Fred Davis Breeze and Maggie Mae Reeder Breeze.
Dorothy was a member of Petersville Church of God and had worked for Western and Southern Tobacco Company. She enjoyed going to church, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Lisa Bradford (Jason Tolle) of Tollesboro; four grandchildren, Tara Withrow, Latisha Truesdell (Stevie), Ashley Williamson (Jeff), Dustin Bradford (Laura); 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter Truesdell, Kyler Truesdell, Brianna Carver, Bella Carver, Brylee Bradford, Bentley Bradford, Braelyn Bradford, Indea Breeze and Shelby Meadows, Alexis and Tate Williamson; and one sister, Gladys McHenry of Tomball, Texas. Dorothy leaves many other friends and family members who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Bender; one daughter Charlotte Lykins; one grandson, Anthony Breeze; and two brothers, Elmer Breeze and George Breeze.
Services will be at Noon Monday, September 27, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Sam Jones and Bro. Milt Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery in Mason County.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday, September 27, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Pallbearers will be Jason Tolle, Jeff Williamson, Dustin Bradford, Stevie Truesdell, Mike Bradford, and Hunter Truesdell. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Breeze, Jeff Breeze and Kyler Truesdell.
