Daily closures on Ky. Rt. 989 next week for culvert replacements

Four culvert replacements will require daily closures of Ky. Rt. 989 in Lewis County over four days next week.
Contractors have 12 hours to dig through the roadway and replace each culvert. Work and traffic closures will take place 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day, according to the following schedule:
• Monday, October 3, Ky. Rt. 989 closed at mile marker 12.5 at Clary Branch just south of Holly Branch Road near the AA Highway intersection
• Tuesday, October 4, Ky. Rt. 989 closed at mile marker 11.5 just north of Shaw Hollow Road
• Wednesday, October 5, Ky. Rt. 989 closed at mile marker 8 at Moore Branch just south of Cypress Lane
• Thursday, October 6, Ky. Rt. 989 closed at mile marker 6.2 between Richard Lane and Runyon Hollow
