When Bill Tom and Barb Cooper opened Chigger’s Dairy Bar in 1986 Ronald Reagan was president, a gallon of gas was 93 cents, and the sauce on Chigger’s footers was the best around.
Today there is a Democrat in the White House, gasoline is more than double the price, and that sauce hasn’t changed a bit.
Chigger’s is celebrating 30 years of operation this month with the second and third generations operating the business and Barb still turning out the signature hot dog sauce, chili and cole slaw.
