A Vanceburg woman was airlifted to a trauma center after she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of her vehicle, went off the roadway and struck a culvert.
The accident happened about 6:45 p.m. Monday on the AA Highway just west of May Hollow, near Ribolt.
