Three Vanceburg residents have been charged with kidnapping after they allegedly took two juvenile children from Vanceburg into Mexico.
Vanceburg Police Lt. Joe Paul Gilbert said the alleged incident was brought to light on Monday, February 4, when the children were reported to have been missing since the day before.
Gilbert said through his initial investigation he was able to track the suspects to Laredo, Texas, where they crossed the border into Mexico.
