The spring forest fire season is underway in Kentucky and will last until April 30. This law prohibits any outside burning within 150 feet of woodland or brushland between the daylight hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The Kentucky Division of Forestry said in a news release that it reminds Kentucky landowners and homeowners that wildfires can strike any time where grass and brush are dry enough to burn.
