Investigators looking into the death of Lowell L. Skidmore Sr. five years ago haven’t picked up any recent fresh leads in the case but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing their efforts to bring the person/s responsible to justice.
“We haven’t given up and we won’t give up,” said Lewis County Sheriff Johnny Bivens.
“We are continuing to work on this case and are still receiving tips and collecting information about the death of Mr. Skidmore,” he added.
“This isn’t something we’ve put on the shelf,” Bivens stated. “We will help Mr. Skidmore’s family find some answers and get closure.”
Bivens says his department has identified a suspect and are continuing to build their case against that person.
