Patricia Ann Ginn Davis, 61, of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 28, 2016, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
She was born October 23, 1954, in Mason County, a daughter of the late Milford “Mutt” Bivens and Helen Ruth “Peggy” Ginn Ruark.
Patty was a member of Slate Hollow Church of the Firstborn. She had worked for US Shoe in Vanceburg and enjoyed being a dedicated childcare provider and selling Avon for the past 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, April DeeAnn Davis; and one grandson, Jordan Andrew Dyer.
Patty is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Keith Lewis of Vanceburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Dean Allen and Stephanie Davis of Firebrick; seven grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Lisa Ginn of Vanceburg; one sister, Marsha Ruark of Vanceburg; and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Slate Hollow Church of the Firstborn in Vanceburg with Bro. Sam Parks and Bro. Tommy Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg. Patricia will lie in repose one hour prior to services on Tuesday at Slate Hollow Church of the Firstborn in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be David Chinn, Mark Rigdon, Jim Bob Edington, Adam Shank, Dalton Ginn, and Mike Yates.
Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg is caring for all arrangements.
