Orville “Jack” Ginn

Orville “Jack” Cecil Ginn, 69, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at his home.

Orville was born June 6, 1952, in Lewis County, a son of the late Cecil S. Ginn and Ruby Faye Kennedy Ginn.

He attended Heselton Baptist Church and worked as a farmer. Orville enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include one brother, Steven (Megan) Ginn of Vanceburg, and three sisters, Sophia Fite of Vanceburg, Sadie (Bob) Hackworth of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Katie Ginn of Vanceburg. A host of family members and friends also survive who will sadly mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ginn, and two sisters, Betty Kinney and Dorothy Ginn.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in Hackworth Cemetery on Salt Lick Road with Bro. Wes Cooper officiating.

Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday at the cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg is caring for all arrangements.
