A Quincy man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash involving a pick-up and and garbage truck at Garrison.
Deputy Matt Ross said Lucas M. Curtis, 23, of Quincy, was traveling east on the AA Highway in a 2004 Dodge 1500 pick-up when a 2003 Freightliner packer sanitation truck was traveling south on Montgomery Road.
He said the sanitation truck, operated by Thaddeus W. Lawhun, 23, of Garrison, was in the process of crossing the AA Highway to continue on Montgomery Road.
Ross said that is when the pick-up collided with the passenger side of the sanitation truck. Both vehicles came to rest on Montgomery Road just south of the AA Highway.
