Noah Smith, 72, of Bainbridge, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Vanceburg on March 16, 1944, a son of the late Herbert and Mary Alice (Kimbler) Smith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by one brother, Calvin Smith; and a baby sister.
Noah is survived by his wife, Ruth (Wallace) Smith; four sons, Noah “Bill” (Becky) Smith of McClure, Ohio, Charles (Jennifer) Smith of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Jody Smith of McClure, Ohio, and Daniel (Debbie Lykins) Smith of Bainbridge, Ohio; a daughter, Judy (Dan Nicely) Ponceby of Fayette, Ohio; five brothers, Carmon (Pam) Smith of Vanceburg, John (Irene) Smith of Vanceburg, Henry (Jane) Smith of Wauseon, Ohio, James (Linda) Smith of Swanton, Ohio, and Ralph (Tara) Smith of Petersville; one sister, Rosetta (Alan) Carpenter of Vanceburg; and six grandchildren, Noah, Caitlin, David, Ian, Caleb, and Jordan.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 14, 2016, at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio. Burial followed in Bainbridge Cemetery.
