A Maysville woman was arrested overnight Friday and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin).

Sheriff Johnny Bivens said his office organized a controlled buy of heroin from the suspect in the Tollesboro area Friday evening.

He said Pamela Berry, 56, of Maysville, was arrested and lodged in the Lewis County Detention Center on the felony charge.

Bivens said a quantity of heroin, money and a vehicle were seized during the operation.
