Early efforts are underway for the City of Vanceburg to create a budget for the next fiscal year that will begin on July 1.
Vanceburg Mayor Matt Ginn has breached the topic during the January and February regular meetings of city council.
The budget should be in place by July 1 of each year. That date marks the beginning of the fiscal year for the city.
