Marijuana Eradication

Members of the Governor's Marijuana Task Force, along with State Police, National Guard and Lewis County Sheriff's Office, have been conducting marijuana eradication efforts in Lewis County over the past several weeks. Several thousand plants have been located and destroyed by utilizing spotters in helicopters and several ground forces. A spokesman said the efforts will continue throughout the growing season.
