A Lewis County family logging operation has received the prestigious Logger of the Year recognition from Glatfelter Company for their Southern District.
Rick Butler and Sons Logging received the honor when the company hosted the annual event honoring the top loggers from each of its four districts.
“It’s a great honor,” said Rick Butler. “Glatfelter is a good company to work with and hold all of their contract loggers to very high standards.”
Butler credits his sons, Derrick and Allen, for the exemplary work in exceeding the goals and standards demanded by Glatfelter.
