Deputy Mike Ginn examines the interior of a pick-up after a train collided with it at St. Paul.

Deputies are investigating a train/vehicle collision Tuesday night that sent a Garrison man to a trauma center with multiple injuries.

Deputy Mike Ginn said the incident happened about 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of KY 8 and Scaffold Lick Road at St. Paul.

He said a 2007 Ford F-150 pick-up, operated by Mason Bertram 33, of Garrison, was traveling north on Scaffold Lick Road and then came to a stop in the middle of the intersection.
