Four people were arrested and charged Friday night following what began as a routine traffic stop in Vanceburg.
Vanceburg Police Officer Mike Ginn said at about 10:30 p.m. Friday he noticed a vehicle that didn’t have working taillights and initiated a traffic stop.
Ginn said as he talked with the operator of the vehicle he observed characteristics of her being under the influence.
He said he opened a DUI investigation and gathered evidence to show the driver to be under the influence of drugs.
