A Quincy woman escaped serious injury when the automobile she was operating collided with a horse in the roadway early Sunday. The horse wasn’t as lucky.
Deputy Gary Erwin said the accident happened about 4:45 a.m. Sunday on Ky. Rt. 8 just west of Quincy. The stretch of roadway is known locally as Quincy Curve.
