A single-vehicle accident late Saturday resulted in the loss of electric service for about two hours for several Vanceburg residences and businesses.
Vanceburg Police Officer Mark Jordan said the accident happened about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Vanceburg, just south of the railroad tracks.
