Top of the Class of 2002

Valedictorians of the Lewis County High School Class of 2002 are Melissa Bradley, Misty Dyer and Stephanie Lewis.

Melissa Bradley has been a member of Beta Club, VICA, Art Club, KUNA and the softball, volleyball and academic teams. Melissa is the daughter of Elmo Bradley of Laurel and the late Emogene Bradley. Her future plans are to attend Berea College and study Chemistry and Pre-Med.

Misty Dyer is the daughter of Carl and Lois Dyer. Misty was president of Beta Club, vice president of PULSAR, and a member of the academic, volleyball, softball and basketball teams. Her future plans are to attend Morehead State University and study Chemistry and Pre-Med.

Stephanie Lewis is the daughter of Timothy and Sherri Lewis of Vanceburg. She was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the Beta Club, KUNA, KYA, PULSAR, ENABL, and the student council. Her future plans are to attend Transylvania University and study Biology and Pre-Med.

The Salutatorian is Daniel Wrobel. Daniel is the son of Torsten Fischer and Petra Andrea Wrobel of Hanover, Germany. Daniel has been a member of the football team and KUNA. He also participated in the Governor's Scholars Program and had a Distinguised writing portfolio. Daniel plans to attend Ohio State University.

The top ten percent of the graduating class are Stephanie Dawn Noel Lewis, Melissa Ann Bradley, Misty Dyer, Daniel Wrobel, Benjamin Lee Harrison, Jessica Renee Johnson, Summer Dawn Hampton, Cindy Thomasina McKinney, Tiffany Stamper, Savannah Kay White, Jason D. Denton, Julie Marie Howe, Michael G. Davis and Samantha Jane Moran.
