Miss Lewis County 2000 is Amanda Liles, 17, daughter of Tammy Ginn and Tommy Liles of Vanceburg. First runner-up was Tara Kidwell, 20, daughter of Marcus and Shirley Kidwell of Vanceburg. First runner-up was Heather Dean, 14, daughter of Betty and Arnold Dyer of Vanceburg; second runner-up was Amanda Ferguson, 14, daughter of Brien and Faye Ferguson of Flemingsburg. Applicants were asked to design and create a poster illustrating how the federal Fair Housing Policy can be promoted in Lewis County.
